Revenue Cycle Manager - Business

You are responsible for the personnel and daily operations of all business office functions. Business office functions include, but are not limited to, patient accounting, billing, switchboard, outpatient admitting, coordinating third-party payers, data entry, and credit and collections. Responsibilities will encompass billings and insurance claims relative to hospital clinics, mental health, public health, assisted living, long term care and home health offices operated by the District. Responsible for all reporting needed for annual cost reports, audits, monthly board reporting, and other reports requested by the CEO, CFO, and board of directors relative to the revenue cycle.

Education & Experience: Degree in business or related field, and/or up to five (5) years on the job experience in business operation of a medical facility/clinic. Three to five years experience working in a supervisory capacity, with responsibility for day-to-day activities of staff and evaluations. Experience with electronic health records systems required.

Expertise in: Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation, preferred provider plans, HMO plans, including their regulations and billing practices. Knowledge of commercial insurance regulations and billing practices. Knowledge of electronic health record systems.
